President Rouhani sent a message of condolence to the Pakistani Prime Minister and nation in order to condole the recent terrorist attack in Lahore.
Dr Rouhani’s message is as follows:

The news regarding terrorist blast in Lahore city and the killing of a number of our Pakistani brothers and sisters, especially children caused great grief and sorrow.
The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns any kind of terrorist attack and believes that violent behaviours and killing innocent people is done by those who see their survival in creating insecurity, instability and spreading hatred coupled with extremism.
I condole with Your Excellency and the great Pakistani nation, and express sympathy with the families of the victims of the calamity and pray the Almighty God for his blessings and heaven for those who were killed in the sorrowful calamity, swift recovery for the injured, and peace, pride and progress for the friend and brother Pakistani nation.
